Yellow or White Skid and Weather Resistant Highly Visible Reflective Pavement Marking Tape is the ideal solution for providing a means of roadway delineation on bituminous or cement surfaces. This tape performs for the duration of the normal construction season, which is defined as the time after the last snow plowing in the spring and before the first snow plowing in the fall/winter. The surface is composed of reflective glass spheres bonded to a specially formulated blend of polymer resins, vibrant pigments, and filters, which are evenly dispersed on an integrated reinforcing system. In order to ensure excellent long lasting reflectance a specially formulated abrasion-resistant top coating securely holds the layer of glass beads in place. A unique pressure sensitive adhesive is designed to adhere to properly prepared bituminous or cement surfaces. Proper surface preparation is extremely important in order to ensure a quality bond. The target area must be clean and dry with an air and surface temperature of 50°F (10°C), and rising. Any foreign substance remaining on the surface during installation can interfere with proper bonding.
