he EZ-Launch base is made of pvc plastic. The launch assembly is injection molded plastic. The US patented spring loaded release mechanism holds the bottle very firmly in place during the fill up phase. A quick pull on a 10 ft nylon cord releases the bottle rocket into the air. It can travel over 200 to 500 feet into the air.
