2001 Whistle-Stop Basket SUPER Combo Collector's Club

This is the 2001 Collector's Club Whistle Stop Basket with the regular plastic protector, Inaugural Fabric Liner, WoodCrafts Lid, and Whistle-Stop Tie-On. The basket features a rectangular shape, and is woven with alternating red and Classic 1/4" weaving with a star-studded blue trim strip. A brushed silver-colored commemorative tag on the center of the trim strip features the Collector's Club logo and the Whistle-Stop Basket name. The basket measures 10 3/4" x 6 1/4" x 7 3/4" and has a swing handle. A special Collector's Club 2001 Collection Edition emblem is burned into the bottom of the basket. The Whistle-Stop Inaugural Fabric Liner is a stand-up style with a striking red velvet, corded edge trim. The Inaugural fabric pattern was inspired by the legend of "Old Glory" and the look and feel of old quilts. It features tea-stained white starts and quilting design on a vintage blue background, replicating a historical feel. The Inaugral fabric is a double sanded sateen, and has been sanded before and after printing to create the feel of a beloved, worn flag. The WoodCrafts lid is made of solid hardwood maple with the WoodCrafts logo burned into the underside of the lid. Since the liner is a stand up style, the lid will not work with the fabric liner in the basket. The Whistle-Stop Tie-On is made of pewter and coordinates with the star-studded accents and the commemorative tag on the basket. It features an engraved, three dimensional star shape. The tie-on measures 1.5" x 1.5" and comes in a gift box. An ivory twisted cord with tassel ends is provided to attach the tie-on to the basket handle. To attach the tie-on to the basket, fold the cord in half and thread it through the tie-on. Slip the tassels through the loop and tighten. With the front of the basket facing you, drape both cords between the left handle and the trim strip. Tie both cords in a simple knot around the handle.
